The Startup SG Founder (SSGF) programme is an initiative by the Singapore government to help entrepreneurs launch their business ideas and grow them into successful enterprises. This comprehensive programme provides entrepreneurs with access to resources, mentorship, and funding support.
Through this programme an entrepreneur with an innovative and distinct business idea that has market potential can get support through a mentoring programme and funding to support the launch of this business.
Who is eligible?
• Permanent residents and Singaporean citizens aged 18 and above
• Full time founders that are the primary and key decision makers to the company. They can’t be employed elsewhere for the commitment to this programme.
• Academic and practical entrepreneurial training.
• Minimum 30% equity in the company.
• For company that haven’t received SSGF funding or other government funding for the same company.
• Start up investment capital, co-matching amount of $20,000 as paid up capital on ACRA.
What you need:
• Letter of recommendation from an Accredited Mentor Partner.
• Company registration details.
• ACRA e-statement.
• Written business plan outlining launch strategy, revenue models and forecasts, management structure, etc.
• Resume or CV of the applicant.
